Legends are never forgotten and there are times when something happens that renews interest in them all over again. Sachin- A Billion Dreams, a docu- movie made on the cricket maverick has taken the nation by storm on the very first day of its release. Die hard Sachan fanatics have always wanted a biopic on the legend and though there have been biopics made before, like M.S. Dhoni, played by Sushant Singh Rajput, what is unique about this biopic is that the cine- goers would get to see the man himself in this movie. Even diehard fans have not always come to know about many of the nuances in the player’s life and here the cricket legend bares it all. From his childhood memories and his first tryst with cricket, to his growing up and finally winning the World Cup before he retired, Sachin had come a long way. His average is cricket is the best and he was the one to break Sir Donald Bradman’s record. The movie is an experience which one would have to see to understand the intensity of the effort that Sachin had put into his game for all those years in his life. The movie also offers snippets into his private life and what Sachin intends to do in his future. As fan of the legends ourselves, we wish him a long and successful life, just as he had one while he was on the pitch, making our country proud.
